The Riding Mountain Triathlon is not just a Saturday morning race for adults. It is a full weekend of events that the whole family can attend and participate in.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of this weekend is to meander down to the main beach on Sunday morning and help your child get ready to participate in the Kids of Steel… or help out the race organizers as they encourage our future triathletes in accomplishing their goals… or just grab a coffee and watch the excitement of the little guys and gals participate in this exciting program.

This Sunday morning event is sponsored by Triathlon Manitoba with complete support from Riding Mountain Triathlon, the “Clear Lake Crew” and various members of the triathlon community. It is a fully sanctioned race that follows the national Kids of Steel guidelines set out by Triathlon Canada. The Kids of Steel program focuses on “the encouragement of healthy active living, lifelong participation, safety, fun, the building of skills, and involvement of Canada’s youth.”
